==♫♪♫♪♫♫== 7:06 AM

I’m so glad that this week has finally ended for me and I felt a sense of relieved when I reached home just now. I headed straight to bed after I changed out and I guess, in no more than 10min, I was in lala~ land already.

I don’t know why I felt so tired for this week. The week started off with having Protein lab which I think is the worst lab that I have ever attended. Not that the course work is difficult, but it is tedious with the number of repeated measurement of the absorbance for the reactions to be done. It’s a TOTAL of 30 reactions and we have to monitor the absorbance change of all reactions at 30-sec interval over a period of 3MIN. Besides, those pipettes as provided were old and this made usage difficult. My hands were all red and sore after doing those pipettings. Discussion for lab report comes next. I do appreciate the effort made by the TA to hold additional discussion in which I doubt many other TA did. But his monotonous ‘speech’ makes me want to sleep. I couldn’t make up most of the words he said and I find it really difficult to concentrate. I drifted off for a couple of times but luckily he was patient enough to explain again when I approached him personally. By the time it was back to Prof Teng’s turn to go through the review questions, I felt like dying already. Since she was not going to upload those answers, I'm left with no other choice except to concentrate and jot down as many points that she mentioned. So by the end of the whole 6hr lab, I was both mentally and physically strained. Oh.. and hungry too. (so let’s say my last meal was at 7pm on Sun, then that means that I had gone without food for 22 hrs!! WOW.. that’s like a superb way to go on a diet!!! =P )

The next 3 days saw me rushing out the graphs for the protein lab report, watching the management science webcast, doing tutorial and writing up for the blog entry (ES assignment). Now I’m feeling so pleased with myself for completing all these work and this weekend ahead, will definitely be a joyful and relaxing one. =)

==♫♪♫♪♫♫== 8:30 AM

I realized my life hasn’t been interesting for the past 1 month. It’s a wonder how days just passed without knowing. Nothing much for me to blog about as well, and after much thought, I decided to at least type something here just in case my friends thought that I have gone disappear. “Ta-dang..”

School term has commenced and gone well into the 3rd week. This semester, I took a module on Effective Communication and until now, seriously, I don’t think I have benefitted much from this module. Perhaps, largely is because most of the time during our lesson was spent on discussion with our classmates, as well as a couple of sharing sessions. Don’t be misunderstood though, our ‘lecturer’, Brad is not to blame and he is definitely an interesting and charismatic one, who constantly shares his experience with us. The main aim of this course is to teach us how to become an effective communicator in various social settings, but most especially, in the workplace. Various points have been taught, but there wasn’t much of a practice yet. After all, knowing and executing the idea is whole lot different. But then again, things might be still early to tell. Hopefully, things that I felt haven’t been addressed will be gone through and I’ll be an effective communicator after this module. Still.. Sorry to say, but I think academic blogging is not very appealing to me. Nevertheless, I’ll still put in my very best for each blog entry for this is a graded assignment.

Well.. I guess that’s all for the time being. It’s really time to start mugging and slogging hard for lab reports, tutorials and assignments before everything starts piling up again. Before that, let me just finish another round of “Who has the biggest brain?” and another episode of Southpark. =P

Seriously, I think Kenny is damn cute

My brain size is 3L big and it is expanding!!

I’ve got to win my bf and put a stop to everything =P
